Questions to ask about your Umrah budget
Questions to ask about your Umrah budget
A package price on its own tells you very little. Two quotes of the same amount can cover quite different things, so the first job is to find out what each number includes.
Start with the basics and write down the answers for every agent you talk to.
- Does the price cover flights, or only the hotel and ground transport?
- Is it per person, and does it change if two people share a room?
- Are the hotel nights counted in each city separately?
- Is local transport between cities included?
- Are meals part of the price?
Then ask what is not included. Agents are usually happy to name the extras if you ask directly, and it is far easier to hear this before you pay than after.
Children, elderly parents and larger groups often change the total, so ask for the quote again with your real family size instead of working it out yourself.
Keep a small cash buffer for things nobody can predict, such as an extra night, a medical visit or food outside the hotel. It is better to carry a little more than you expect to spend.
Finally, get every figure in writing and keep the message. pakistantraveldiaries is a Lahore tour company that also arranges Umrah packages, and the same list of questions works for us as it does for anyone else you compare.
